Hand-dyed cotton panels from The Gambia

These stunning panels are all created by my friend Musa Jaiteh in his family compound in The Gambia. Musa uses various stitching and tying techniques to create a resist before hand-dyeing in Kola nut and Indigo. All fabrics are plain weave, 100% cotton.

Note about colour
Because all of these fabrics are hand-dyed, there may be slight variation in colour from batch to batch or from pattern to pattern.

Prices and Ordering

Fabric width is 80 cm / 31 in. Panel length varies with pattern, 55-70 cm / 22-28 in, approximately.
